A "Vinyasa" in the Western world denotes a sequence of poses that's used frequently in a typical Vinyasa class (that's why it's called a Vinyasa Yoga class!).

However, it's rarely described in full detail, nor is the teacher likely to stop and adjust your form for fear of holding the advanced students back. This doesn't protect your shoulders or help you engage the correct muscles needed to keep this sequence safe and effective. Done with incorrect form over and over, and you'll be prone to injury (I can speak from experience).

REMEMBER: Yoga can be a life-long practice. You might not start touching your toes, yet, nor practice a vinyasa without using your knees. But, it's not about achieving the posture. Really. It's the process of getting connected with your body, focusing the chatter in your mind, and becoming a better version of yourself. Touching your toes is more like the "icing on the cake"! So, be patient and refer back to this course as many times as you'd like. You have lifetime access to it, even with future content upgrades. Wait, Who's julie? what's a rogue yogi?

Hey, I'm Julie. I'm a digital nomad, a science geek and a rogue yogi. I'm going to help you practice yoga using layman's terms. I've been practicing for almost 10 years and teaching for almost 5. If you're tired of feeling the need to conform to what a yogi "needs to be", this is the place to be. No granola, no loud top 40 music, no holier-than-thou BS that happens when people treat yoga like a religion.

It took me awhile to learn the things I'm sharing with you now. I started off as a clumsy tech geek who couldn't touch my toes. Over this past decade, I observed tons of yoga studios, teachers and various yoga systems. All these lessons I share with you are nuances, anatomy/science knowledge with the right blend of spirituality and yet solid real-talk.

After meeting people all over the world and hearing first-hand about their frustrations with specific things missing from their yoga instruction and YouTube searching, I became clear on just how universal this problem was.

This course covers all those things I wish I knew when I first started yoga. I'm happy to share it in a comprehensive way that you can digest at your own pace and revisit as much as you want.

I promise you this isn't about being flexible. It definitely does feel good to become more flexible, but it's more of an added benefit of practicing. 

This is just like saying "I can't go to the gym because I'm not ripped". 

Imagine what it would be like if you started today. You would progress so much more than someone who never started at all.


What if I'm too busy to practice for an hour?

Perfect! This course features lessons that would take around 10 minutes a day. Just 10 minutes! Fit it into your day the best that you can.

Consistency is much more key than length of practice in a day. Even if you just meditate for 10 minutes everyday, it will provide you a sustainable benefit.

Do I have to be Vegetarian to take this course?

F*ck no! In this Rogue Yogi School, you have the choice to live your life as you see fit. This includes dietary preferences, religion, fashion and more. 

While some people experience their practice differently with eating just vegetables, and the yoga gurus in India say it is the path to yogic enlightenment, it just isn't a requirement.

Should you choose to be vegetarian, it's all good. 
Should you choose not to be, it's still all good.
