All the Tools to Help With Your Recent Life Change

You're in the Right Place if...

You are someone who is up to something big? That your hustle has taken you to this point in life...The start of some type of Momentum.

This is the beginning of something, and you know it.

This kind of Shift in your mindset leads you to grow the courage to do something Different...You recognize the Bad-Ass that you are. You're going against the grain. You're going Rogue and you feel so liberated with this choice!

Now, imagine you are on this Beautiful Island in the Mediterranean Sea. The tourist season has passed, but the weather is still prime for chillin' at the beach. After you explore the black and red sand, the calm waves and the bright blue sky, you begin to see the paths of cobblestones leading your eyes right up to the cave-style architecture lining this volcanic island.

You totally get that this is the space to love yourself, to Treat yourself out, to become Stronger for this next phase of your life

Welcome to Santorini.

According to the Cambridge Dictionary, going "Rogue" is behaving in ways that are not expected or not normal, often in a way that causes damage.

To us, this is mostly true. Except, it's more like "shaking things up". Investigating and questioning what makes us peaceful, self-expressed and happy. So, there's less attention to the negative self-talk, the past, and our attachments to what we think we have to be in life.

As for the word "Retreat", it usually means to withdraw. And, it's also a mainstream title for a "Yoga Retreat".

But, in the Rogue Yogi world we see it as "diving right into" the scene.  Taking it all in as we open ourselves right up.

As we're about thinking outside the box, try to look at the word in a completely different way. The first segment "RE" (to do again), and the second "TREAT" (to give what provides great pleasure), thereby giving you the explanation of what "RE:TREAT" means.

**Yes, I totally went geek on you in that last statement**

"More Mindful Photography", a Photography Workshop

Our constantly improving camera phones have us taking more photos than ever. But often it seems we're thinking less and less about what we're shooting. This class is about approaching our everyday photography with more focus and purpose, leading to a collection of images that inspire us and stir our souls. During the course I’ll share images that touch me deeply, and show you how a more mindful approach to composition can make your own photos much more compelling. Slow down, take a breath, and really consider the image you're about to take. You'll end up with images that connect you to your passions and that you’ll cherish for many years to come.

Julie will be leading your retreat experience. She'll be teaching all of the yoga and meditation, as well as the mindfulness tools you can use everywhere you go

About Julie:

Julie is a Rogue Yogi. After a brief stint in "Corporate America", she got fed up with being confined to a cubicle and with being a clumsy human on her yoga mat. After relying on drugs to cope with a few traumas in her life, she somehow found a lot more peace after learning how to teach yoga herself. She has gone onto leading hundreds of yoga and DJ events up and down the California coast, several global retreats (including Tulum, Granada, Silverlake, this Santorini retreat and next year in Bali). For her full bio, click here.

My Retreat Assistant and Photographer Extraordinaire, Corinne. She is also leading our Mindful Photography workshop (included in your retreat investment).

About Corinne:

My name is Corinne Rushing and I live with my husband Mike and my fur baby Rocky in Manhattan Beach. I’ve felt a connection and calling to photography since I was a little girl. My mother took photography classes and was obsessed with capturing images of our family (and hiring professional photographers to do the same). I got my first camera in grade school and I’ve been shooting ever since. In my professional career I specialize in shooting architecture and interiors as well as professional and family portraiture. My photos have been published in catalogs, design magazines and even the Wall Street Journal.

In my personal work I focus on capturing people and their passions, seeking to create images that stir my soul, and hopefully the souls of others, too. I have a knack for interviewing people, a skill I’ve combined with my photography in a project called 5 Wisdoms. It’s a series of portraits and personal philosophies, created with the goal of sharing positive and inspirational stories with the world. My hope is that it will inspire others to connect with their own inner wisdom and live it every day - something I strive to do in my own life by following my passions and nourishing my creative side.
